About Royale Boston

Royale Boston is the city's premier large-format nightclub, housed in a beautifully restored 1920s theatre in the Theatre District. The 1,700-capacity venue operates across multiple levels with several bars, VIP areas and a main stage that can accommodate full concert productions. Its programming spans hip-hop, electronic, Latin and Top 40, drawing a wide cross-section of Boston's nightlife audience.

History

Royale opened in 2006 in the former Roxy nightclub space, a storied venue that itself occupied a historic ballroom. Since then it has remained Boston's dominant large nightclub, booking acts including Diplo, Chromeo and numerous national touring artists.
