Crobar is the undisputed king of Buenos Aires nightlife — a vast, internationally recognised club in Palermo that has been drawing global DJs and the city's most passionate clubbers since 2001. The venue's 3,000-person capacity houses a production infrastructure that rivals the best clubs in Europe, with Funktion-One sound, LED production, and touring artist requirements met to the highest standard. Crobar's Friday and Saturday nights, which often run until well past sunrise in the Buenos Aires tradition, have become legendary on the global electronic music circuit. International DJs frequently cite Crobar as one of their favourite venues to play.
Crobar opened in Buenos Aires in 2001, part of a global franchise that also operated in Chicago. The Buenos Aires venue outlasted its international siblings and became an independent institution, evolving into one of South America's defining club spaces over two decades.
