About Bar Standard
Bar Standard is Denver's answer to the serious European-style underground techno club, a basement venue in LoDo built entirely around the dance music experience. The club's dark aesthetic, forward-facing sound system and uncompromising music policy — no phones on the dance floor, no commercial music — have earned it a devoted following among Denver's electronic music purists and a strong reputation with touring techno and electronic artists.
History
Bar Standard opened in 2010 and deliberately positioned itself as Denver's antidote to the mainstream club scene, drawing inspiration from Berlin and Chicago club culture to create a venue where the music is always the priority.
