MK is an American DJ and producer from Detroit who produced a series of highly influential remixes in the early 1990s—including his work for Nightcrawlers' "Push the Feeling On"—that helped define the sound of UK and US house music for years to come. His label Area 10 has become a platform for his continued output, and his DJ sets demonstrate an unbroken connection to the spirit of deep Chicago and Detroit house. He has experienced a significant commercial resurgence from the 2010s onward.
