Robert Hood is an American DJ and producer from Detroit who was a founding member of Underground Resistance alongside Jeff Mills and Mad Mike, and who went on to develop one of the most spare and functional approaches to minimal techno through his M-Plant label. His alias Floorplan produces gospel-infused house music that has earned him a devoted second following. He is widely regarded as one of the most important individuals in the entire history of techno.
