Surgeon is a British DJ and producer from Birmingham who is one of the founding figures of the Birmingham techno scene, releasing a string of highly regarded albums on Dynamic Tension Records and Tresor that have influenced generations of techno producers. His sets are characterized by a deep knowledge of techno history combined with an instinctive feel for the dancefloor. He is widely considered one of the UK's most important contributions to the global techno tradition.
