About Hakkasan Nightclub

Hakkasan Nightclub is the largest nightclub in the world, spanning five floors and 80,000 square feet inside the MGM Grand. The venue's defining feature is The Grid — a massive LED ceiling installation that creates an immersive visual experience unlike anything else in Las Vegas. Hakkasan has hosted the world's highest-paid DJ residencies, with Tiësto, Calvin Harris, and Steve Aoki commanding fees that have redefined the economics of the nightclub industry. The venue's scale allows it to run multiple rooms simultaneously, each with its own programming and atmosphere.

History

Opened in 2013, Hakkasan was developed as a joint venture between Hakkasan Group and MGM Grand. The venue's opening marked a new era in Las Vegas nightlife, with DJ residency fees reaching unprecedented levels and the megaclub format achieving its most extreme expression. Hakkasan's success spawned a generation of imitators and established Las Vegas as the world capital of EDM nightlife.
