About Today x Future
Today x Future has established itself as Manila's most credible underground electronic music venue, a Poblacion basement club that has brought world-class techno and house bookings to the Philippines in an authentically underground setting. The venue's no-frills aesthetic, excellent sound system and uncompromising music policy have made it the gathering point for Manila's serious electronic music community — producers, DJs and dedicated clubbers who find the BGC mega-clubs too commercial and the tourist-oriented Malate bars too basic. Today x Future represents Manila's maturation as a genuine global electronic music city.
History
Today x Future opened in 2016 as Poblacion was establishing itself as Manila's most creatively fertile neighbourhood. The club's founders drew inspiration from the underground clubs they had experienced in Berlin, London and Tokyo, bringing that curatorial approach to Manila's rapidly developing nightlife scene.
