About Black
Black is Mexico City's answer to the Berlin underground — a deliberately dark, industrial venue in La Condesa focused entirely on serious techno and electronic music. The venue eschews the bottle service culture and glamour of Mexico City's more commercial clubs in favour of a stark, music-first environment where the DJ plays to a genuinely engaged crowd. Black has helped establish Mexico City's underground electronic scene as one of Latin America's most sophisticated.
History
Black opened in 2016 and quickly became the reference point for underground techno in Mexico City. Its founders brought experience from the European club scene and applied it to create something genuinely different in the Mexican context.
