Tunnel is one of Milan's most historically significant clubs, occupying the vaulted arches beneath Milano Centrale railway station. The venue's dramatic underground setting — low stone ceilings, industrial pipework, and the rumble of trains overhead — creates an atmosphere that is uniquely its own. Since opening in 1994, Tunnel has hosted generations of techno and drum & bass legends, becoming a rite of passage for Milanese electronic music culture. The club's programming has spanned everything from Detroit techno to Italian hardcore, reflecting Milan's broad electronic music appetite.
Tunnel opened in 1994, taking advantage of the atmospheric arches beneath Milano Centrale that had previously stood empty. The venue quickly became one of the most important clubs in Italy for techno and electronic music, attracting international DJs at a time when such bookings were rare in Milan. It has gone through several ownership changes but maintained its underground identity throughout.
