Old Town Scottsdale is one of America's most celebrated bar crawl destinations — a compact grid of streets in central Scottsdale packed with hundreds of bars, clubs, rooftop lounges and day-to-night pool venues. On weekend nights, the streets themselves become part of the party, with crowds flowing between venues. It's especially famous as a bachelorette and bachelor party destination, with limousines, bar crawl groups and party buses a common sight.

Bottled Blonde on Scottsdale Road is one of Old Town's most popular and sprawling bar-club hybrids. Dierks Bentley's Whiskey Row is excellent for country fans. Maya Day + Nightclub is the city's premier pool party venue. For rooftop experiences, Backyard Boathouse and Sugar Rush have excellent views. The Scottsdale Quarter's outdoor venues are popular in the cooler months when the desert climate is at its most beautiful.

Scottsdale is arguably America's number-one bachelorette party destination. The combination of Old Town's walkable bar scene, hotel pool parties, warm weather, luxury resorts and party-friendly culture makes it the first choice for groups from across the country. Weekends from October through May are peak season; summer is quieter due to extreme heat (110°F+). Many bars offer bachelorette packages — it's worth calling ahead to arrange VIP tables or packages.

Scottsdale is one of the more expensive nightlife cities in the Southwest. Cocktails at Old Town venues run $14–20, and club covers can reach $30–40 on busy nights. Bottle service at pool and club venues is a major part of the culture and can cost $300–1000+ per table. That said, many Old Town bars have no cover charge, especially earlier in the evening, and happy hours are common. Budget $80–150 for a typical night out.
