Parties in Toulouse

Les Carmes around Place des Carmes is Toulouse's most atmospheric nightlife quarter, with wine bars, cocktail lounges and clubs in centuries-old buildings. Rue Saint-Rome and the streets around Place du Capitole are packed with bars popular with students. Saint-Cyprien across the Garonne has a more alternative and creative bar scene.

Le Bikini is Toulouse's largest and most respected concert venue, hosting national and international acts before transitioning to club nights. Le Rex Club in the city centre is the main electronic music venue. Connexion Live is a popular student club, and Les Pavillons Sauvages hosts experimental and alternative events.

Toulouse clubs are licensed until 5–6 am on weekends, in line with French national regulations. Les Carmes bars often have animated terrace scenes that continue past midnight even on weeknights, particularly in the warmer months of spring and summer.

Stade Toulousain is one of rugby's great clubs, and match nights transform Toulouse's nightlife into something special. The city fills with passionate supporters, bars around Place du Capitole erupt with post-match celebrations, and rival-team fans generally receive the warm reception that defines Southern French hospitality. The Top 14 season runs from September through June.
