History

Woody's opened in 1991 on Walnut Street in the heart of what would become Philadelphia's officially recognised Gayborhood, and has since become one of the longest-running and most celebrated LGBTQ+ venues on the East Coast, weathering every change in the industry while maintaining its role as a community anchor.
