The Ritz is Raleigh's largest dedicated concert and nightclub venue, a 1,200-capacity room in the heart of downtown that has been the city's home for major electronic music events and high-production concerts since opening in 2009. History

The Ritz opened in 2009 and immediately became Raleigh's most important venue for high-production events, filling the gap between the mid-size Lincoln Theatre and the arena-level Raleigh Amphitheater. Its EDM programming in particular helped introduce Raleigh's growing young professional population to electronic music culture and established the city as a serious market for touring DJs.
