Zouk is one of the most important clubs in Asia — a Singapore institution since 1991 that has played a defining role in Southeast Asia's electronic music development. History

Zouk opened in 1991 in a converted warehouse on Jiak Kim Street and immediately became the most important club in Southeast Asia. Its influence on regional electronic music culture over three decades is impossible to overstate — Zouk is to Asia what Fabric is to London or Berghain is to Berlin.
