Tygmont is Warsaw's oldest and most respected jazz club, operating continuously since 1978 in a vaulted basement in the city centre. History

Founded in 1978 during the communist era, Tygmont became a cultural sanctuary where Warsaw's jazz community gathered. Its survival through the political and economic upheavals of 1989 and beyond speaks to the depth of loyalty it inspires in its audience. The club has hosted virtually every significant Polish jazz artist of the past four decades.
