Ybor City's Latin energy and the Gulf Coast party scene
Tampa's nightlife centers on Ybor City, one of Florida's most historically rich entertainment districts — a neighbourhood born from Cuban cigar culture that has evolved into a multi-block entertainment corridor of clubs, rooftop bars and Latin music venues. SoHo (South Howard Avenue) draws the young professional crowd with upscale cocktail bars, while Channelside's waterfront has nightclubs and entertainment complexes. St. Pete Beach, a 30-minute drive away, adds Gulf Coast beach bar culture to Tampa's already diverse nightlife offering.
