Cross Club is one of the most visually extraordinary club environments in Europe, a steampunk cathedral of welded metal, recycled machinery, and kinetic sculpture spread across multiple levels in Prague's Holešovice district. The aesthetic — all exposed pipework, moving mechanical parts, and repurposed industrial materials — is matched by equally distinctive programming spanning techno, drum & bass, experimental electronics, and everything in between. Cross Club also functions as a café and cultural centre during the day, making it a 24-hour destination. Its unique combination of art, community, and underground music has earned international recognition.
Cross Club was founded in 2004 by a collective of artists and musicians who wanted to create a space that was as much an art installation as a nightclub. The steampunk aesthetic was developed over years of building and welding by the club's founders and resident artists. The venue has become one of Prague's most photographed and internationally recognised cultural spaces.
