Forum Przestrzenie occupies the ground floor of the former Forum Hotel, a striking Brutalist concrete building from the communist era on the banks of the Vistula directly opposite the Wawel Castle. The venue combines a café-bar, outdoor terrace and club space in a setting of extraordinary architectural drama — the vast concrete exterior framing views of the Royal Cathedral across the river. Its summer terrace is Kraków's most spectacular outdoor bar, drawing enormous crowds for evenings that combine the architectural setting with good electronic music programming and a relaxed, cosmopolitan atmosphere.
Forum Przestrzenie opened in 2016 as the first major cultural activation of the long-dormant Forum Hotel building, kickstarting the revival of Kraków's South Bank as a cultural and nightlife zone. Its immediate success demonstrated the appetite for imaginative venue development in the city.
