LX Factory is Lisbon's most creative cultural destination, a converted 19th-century industrial complex in Alcântara that hosts markets, concerts, exhibitions, restaurants, and club nights. The venue's industrial aesthetic — exposed brick, iron beams, and vast open spaces — provides a backdrop for events that range from Sunday vintage markets to late-night electronic music parties. LX Factory has become one of Lisbon's most important cultural institutions, attracting both locals and visitors.
The LX Factory site was originally built in 1846 as a textile factory and later became one of Lisbon's most important industrial complexes. After decades of decline, it was transformed into a creative hub in 2008 and has since become one of the most visited destinations in the city.
