About Urban Beach

Urban Beach is Lisbon's most popular outdoor club, a vast venue in Alcântara with a spectacular terrace overlooking the Tagus river. The club's combination of indoor and outdoor spaces, commercial house and EDM programming, and prime waterfront location makes it the go-to destination for a mainstream night out in Lisbon. Summer evenings on the terrace, with views of the 25 de Abril bridge, are among the most memorable nightlife experiences in the city.

History

Opened in 2001 in Alcântara's docklands, Urban Beach was one of the first venues to capitalise on Lisbon's waterfront as a nightlife destination. Its success helped establish Alcântara as an important nightlife district alongside Bairro Alto and Cais do Sodré.
