About XOYO

XOYO is one of London's most consistently excellent nightclubs. The Shoreditch venue is particularly known for its residency format — booking a single artist for multiple consecutive weekends, allowing them to develop a deeper relationship with the London audience than a one-off booking permits. This approach has attracted some of the most respected names in electronic music, from Skream to Bicep to Four Tet. XOYO reopened in January 2026 after a refurbishment that upgraded its sound system and production infrastructure.

History

Opened in 2010 in a former printworks in Shoreditch, XOYO quickly established itself as one of London's most important clubs. The residency format — introduced in 2012 — became one of the most influential programming innovations in UK nightlife and has been widely imitated. XOYO has survived multiple waves of Shoreditch gentrification to remain one of the area's most important cultural institutions.
