Concrete occupies a converted barge moored on the banks of the Seine near Bercy, and has been one of Europe's most talked-about clubs since its 2011 opening. The venue runs its famous Sunday morning sessions that stretch well into Monday, attracting a devoted crowd of music purists. Its programme champions the most adventurous corners of techno, house, jungle, and bass music, with bookings that consistently outpace clubs three times its size. The raw industrial aesthetic and lack of VIP culture create an egalitarian dancefloor where the music is always the focus.
Founded in 2011 by a collective of Parisian music lovers, Concrete was instrumental in establishing Paris as a serious city for after-hours culture. The club's marathon weekend sessions became a blueprint for extended-format clubbing across Europe. Its curatorial approach influenced a generation of Parisian promoters.
