About Silencio

Silencio is the brainchild of filmmaker David Lynch, who designed every inch of this subterranean members club in the 2nd arrondissement. The space opens to the public after midnight, transforming into one of Paris's most atmospheric clubs. Multiple rooms — including a cinema, bar, and main dance space — are adorned with Lynch's characteristically surreal aesthetic. Programming leans toward electronic and indie sounds, with a crowd that skews creative and international.

History

Silencio opened in 2011, conceived by David Lynch as a late-night refuge for Parisian artists and film industry figures. Lynch personally oversaw the interior design, resulting in one of the world's most visually distinctive club environments. The venue's hybrid members-club-meets-nightclub model has inspired similar concepts across Europe.
