The Warehouse Project is a seasonal club event series that runs from September through to New Year at the vast Depot Mayfield, a disused railway depot in central Manchester. The scale and production quality are closer to a music festival than a conventional club, with multiple rooms, outdoor spaces, and a roster of artists that represents the full spectrum of electronic music at its finest. WHP has launched and sustained careers for DJs and producers, and its end-of-year run creates a genuine sense of cultural occasion in Manchester. The series has become one of the most anticipated events in the British clubbing calendar.
The Warehouse Project was founded in 2006, initially running events under the Piccadilly Train Station arches before expanding to larger venues. The move to Depot Mayfield gave the series its current scale and ambition. Over nearly two decades WHP has become synonymous with Manchester's nightlife identity and serves as the city's flagship contribution to British club culture.
