About Elsewhere

Elsewhere is one of New York's most thoughtfully designed music venues. The three-floor complex in Bushwick includes The Hall (a 600-capacity main room), Zone One (an intimate basement), and a rooftop terrace. Each space has its own distinct character and sound system, allowing Elsewhere to run simultaneous events across different genres. The venue's programming is genuinely eclectic, spanning electronic music, indie rock, hip-hop, and experimental sounds.

History

Opened in 2017 by Jake Rosenthal and Rami Haykal, Elsewhere was designed to fill a gap in New York's live music and nightclub landscape — a venue that could credibly host both a touring indie band and a techno night. The venue quickly became a favourite with the city's music community and has hosted early performances by artists who went on to major careers.
