About Trädgården

Trädgården (The Garden) is one of Scandinavia's most beloved summer club venues, an outdoor complex built into the arches beneath the Skanstull bridge on Södermalm's south shore. From late spring through early autumn, Trädgården operates as an expansive outdoor club with multiple stages, food vendors and bars that create an atmosphere somewhere between a festival and a neighbourhood party. The electronic music programming is consistently excellent, with bookings ranging from Swedish talent to major international names, while the relaxed, inclusive atmosphere makes it one of Stockholm's most democratic and enjoyable summer destinations.

History

Trädgården opened in 2008 under the Skanstull bridge — a previously underutilised urban infrastructure space — and became immediately central to Stockholm's summer culture. Its model of activating the space seasonally has made it one of the most environmentally and urbanistically thoughtful club concepts in Europe.
